Local Tea rooms and cafes
Our favorite is Louis Tea Room at the bottom of
Kitts Hill with fantastic views looking over the
Tamar Valley across to Plymouth. It has outside
seating for people who like to be out in the fresh
air and the kids and adults will love the mini
animal farm of bunny rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and
chickens
Directions 10mins drive towards Callington on your
right, just look for the sign
Special Shops
Trago mills is a huge old mill turned into a
shoppers dream, selling everything. Its great for a
rainy day shopping trip, but it is also by a
picturesque river with covered picnic / barbecue
areas which kids young and old will enjoy.
Eating out
Local
The most recommended by visitors and only 15mins
drive down the road is The Cricketers Arms
